Lake Bonney Wind Farm Project - Greenpower
Lake Bonney Wind Farm Project is located in Woakwine Range, South Australia which stretches from Carpenters Rocks in the south to Cape Jaffa in the north. It is built on predominantly cleared grazing land with minimal environmental impact and both the local community and council are supportive of the wind farm.
The wind farm is accredited under the Mandatory Renewable Energy Scheme and the Green Power Scheme. Hence it helps expand the renewable energy industry in Australia and also increases the financial viability of the local farms in the region.
The Te Apiti Wind Farm is a 90 MW project and was the first wind farm in New Zealand to provide electricity to the national grid. It is a Gold Standard registered project from which Climate Friendly purchased credits in 2005 and 2006.
The GFL Windfarm is a 23.1MW renewable energy windfarm in Gudhepanchgani in the state of Maharashtra, India. Operational from April 2007, the wind farm is made up of 14 wind turbines each capable of generating 1.65 MW of energy and displacing 51,618 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions caused by the burning of fossil fuels.
Climate Friendly is the exclusive buyer of all the 2007 and 2008 vintage credits.
The project activity comprises the generation of thermal energy using renewable biomass waste generated in provinces nearby the plant. The project uses waste rice husks that would have otherwise been burned in the fields or left to decay.
The project design comprises the installation of a 6.98 MWth biomass boiler to generate process heat. This biomass boiler is one of the first in the region and has been installed in place of a traditional coal fired boiler.

The Hebei Kangbao Wind Project is a 30MW renewable energy windfarm located on the Wolongtu Mountain which is in Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City of Hebei province, People's Republic of China.
The wind farm generates electricity which is fed into the North China power grid. The project contributes to the development of renewable energy in China and the reduction of GHG emissions. The Project will not only supply renewable electricity to grid, but also contribute to sustainable development in the local area.
Climate Friendly is the exclusive buyer of the 2007 and 2008 vintage credits.
